2008 USA FAI World Team

Mery Rose was an 11-time Brazilian style & accuracy champion with big dreams of coming to America to train with world-renowned S&A champion Cheryl Stearns. “If you want to be a world champion, you must train and live with the world champions." She said justifying her radical attitude, that of bag and baggage moved to the USA in the year of 1990. In 2005, she realized her goal of become a U.S. Team member at the World Cup, helping the team earn a FAI-Fédération Aéronautique Internationale bronze team medal at the event.  In the last summer Mery Rose earned a spot on the 2008 World Meet who competed in Lucenec, Slovakia, and won two FAI team medals: bronze accuracy landing and silver Overall Country.
